Kuwait – Show days

1kxu80We really started our work on the 28th of February. After resting from long flights and taking in the sites, we headed to the theatre to get down to business. The theatre is a government owned place, and the home of the Sesame Street show, which, it turns out, would be the source of a few technical hiccoughs.  Continue reading

Just clowning around…Lisbon (11/28-12/5)

crazy-touristsAlmost two years ago, through a weird series of connections and circumstances, I ended up tech-ing a clown show called Aga-Boom, which was performing in the Vilnius Comedy festival. The 30 Best Movies About The Theater

There’s nothing like a good theatre experience. And if you can’t make it out to see something live, then a film is the next best thing.

And if you can watch a movie about the theatre? Heaven!

DAVID: Sense – The Impresario of Vegas

This month, we take a look at Troy Heard, creative director of Table 8 Productions and The Onyx Theatre.

He’s doing amazing stuff in the world of Vegas theatre, helping to build our scene and culture. Remember, there’s more to live performance than the Strip and the Smith Center.

Thinking in and about English on a Sunday Morning

shakespeare-big-willy-funny-poster

You know, Shakespeare didn’t always sound like Shakespeare. Sometimes he sounded like a pirate. And in fact, just for good measure, English didn’t always sound like English.

Anyway, here’s a couple of videos to get your brain working. Continue reading

What? You didn’t know either? Well read my latest David article to find out what all the fuss was about!
