This is an amazing story! Holy crap the things this guy has done and how much he’s been an invisible part of my life, childhood and overall creative development!
My takeaway though, is this line:

Snicket Blake, to whom I am somehow related, has directed a new film. Her last one, was pretty good, too.
Gene Wilder passed away yesterday. He was a comic genius who will forever be remembered for films like Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein and Willy Wonka. But even in smaller, less known films, he shined.
A student once asked me to find a zombie film where the zombies had a character arc. Here ya go.
There’s nothing like a good theatre experience. And if you can’t make it out to see something live, then a film is the next best thing.
And if you can watch a movie about the theatre? Heaven!
